        Summer Conference News:  The Summer Institute for Human Rights and Genocide is currently  accepting applications for this year's program, held during the weekdays of July 27-August 7th between 9AM - 3PM at Hamburg High School.  Participants will hear internationally known speakers and genocide survivors, be a part of leadership seminars and take part in interactive activities designed to learn from the past and make the world a better place.   Please share this information with your students and colleagues by visiting the institute website or emailing co-chair Andrew Beiter at abeiter@springvillegi.org.  The website has applications, general information and a short promotional video designed to play in class.

Educational institutions which receive Federal funding are required to hold an educational program pertaining to the United States Constitution on September 17 of each year. In 2008, schools can celebrate Constitution Day on Wednesday, September 17.
